The GenCorp Foundation is dedicated to supporting the
communities where our employees live, work and
volunteer. While the GenCorp Foundation's primary focus
is education, it also supports human services, civic and
arts organizations in GenCorp communities.
Since 2000, more than $5.5 million has been distributed to fund scholarships and educational programs, as well as
grants to many local non-profit organizations.
The GenCorp Foundation emphasizes science education and partners with many outstanding community-based organizations, including the Challenger Learning Center,
Explorit Science Center, and the Aerospace Museum of California.
The Foundation continues to build strong ties with
higher education, including Sacramento State University, the University of Alabama Huntsville, the University of Washington, the University of California Davis, and Viriginia Tech. The Foundation works to encourage student participation in math, science, engineering and technology through funding numerous scholarships in its communities.
The GenCorp Foundation's 2005 Year in Review reports

its communities.
